Hotspots Campaign

The latest partnership initiative is the Oxfordshire Hotspots campaign, which aims at enabling anyone in Oxfordshire to be within ten minutes of a fast internet connection. The goal is to develop, deploy and promote a network of new wireless hotspots that will contribute to even coverage for the whole county.

Hosting a hotspot enhance businesses position in attracting more costumers and encourages visitors to stay on the site for longer. All of which can lead to increased revenue and profit. Once people know the location of a wireless hotspot, they are much more likely to tell their friends and come back time after time.

The national launch campaign is planned for July 26th. We have produced some maps showing all the current WiFi hotspots in Oxfordshire. To view them:
